Underground Support Specialist

As an Underground Support Specialist, you will execute underground bulk emulsion trials and provide field support for customers and joint ventures.

What You’ll Do:

As an Underground Support Specialist, you will execute underground bulk emulsion trials and provide field support for customers and joint ventures. Other duties include:

- Ensure compliance with applicable Company HSE Performance Standards, MSHA, Cal OSHA, as well as applicable acts and regulations.

- Report all incidents and hazardous conditions to appropriate supervisors

- Proactively handle safety issues and practice Take 5! Process by using the HAT tool to promote personal responsibility for safety.

- Support of the implementation of all policies improving the quality of blasting services and limiting liability exposure related to blasting activities

- Maintain safe working conditions and assure that all crew members and others on the site follow all safety and regulatory procedures and practices to ensure a safe and successful event

- Provide field support for underground trials.

- Coordinate mobilization and operate DynoMiner equipment at underground sites.

- Provide maintenance of trial DynoMiners and perform preventative maintenance.

- Support sales and customer needs during underground trials.

- Train and coach employees/JV partners/customers to safely follow the DynoMiner standard operating procedures.

- Highlight improvements in efficiency of underground loading and demonstrate other benefits of bulk emulsion.

- Proactively handle safety issues.

What We’re Looking For:

- Ability to read, write, and speak English, and to communicate in writing and verbally.

- Must be willing to undergo and pass an ATF background check as required to be a possessor of explosives. .

- Ability to acquire and maintain FAA Remote Pilots License within six months.

- Valid drivers license is required.

- Positive attitude, friendly demeanor, and team player.
