Experienced TIG Welder and Fitter

I.F. Metalworks is a custom manufacturer specializing in high quality fabricated metal products for markets from architectural/structural to military/aerospace and everywhere in between. Work is primarily one-off/prototype and short-run production in nature depending on active jobs. These are first shift, full-time, permanent positions. We are seeking highly motivated people who adapt well to change, take pride in quality workmanship, and seek the daily challenge of working on custom projects for customers who expect the best. The position is for an experienced fabricator with strong print-reading/layout and MIG & TIG abilities. Some production welding may be required, but this position will be primarily small lot/short run projects of various sizes, mostly in steel, aluminum and stainless for this position.

Pay for this position may increase depending on experience.

Requirements:

· TIG of steel/stainless/aluminum.

· Metal finishing

· Blueprint reading/layout/fit up.

· Multi-pass MIG welding on 3/4" steel.

· Ability to complete work efficiently and in a timely manner.

· Must be able to work on their own with very little supervision.

· Must have at least 5 years experience in TIG & MIG welding.

· Fitting experience prefered.

· Hours include on-site & off-site work. On site-located in Roseville, MI; off-site local Metro Detroit
