Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled TIG Welder with over (3) years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality welding tasks using TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) welding techniques. This role requires precision and attention to detail, as well as the ability to interpret blueprints and schematics. The TIG Welder will work on various materials and components, ensuring compliance with industry codes and standards.
Duties
•
Perform TIG welding on stainless steel, aluminum, and other materials as required.
•
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine welding requirements.
•
Operate welding equipment safely and efficiently, including plasma cutting tools.
•
Conduct quality checks on welds using calipers and other measuring instruments to ensure adherence to specifications.
•
Collaborate with team members to complete projects in a timely manner while maintaining high standards of quality.
•
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
•
Troubleshoot and resolve any welding issues that arise during production.
Experience
•
Proven experience in TIG welding; additional experience in FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding), Stick welding, or soldering is a plus.
•
Familiarity with machining processes is beneficial.
•
Strong understanding of industry codes and standards related to welding practices.
•
Ability to read and interpret technical documents, including blueprints and schematics.
•
Experience with precision measuring tools such as calipers is preferred.
•

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.00 - $32.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
