Experienced Construction/Maintenance Worker

G.R.O. Energy Solutions, LLC is located in Watertown, NY and is looking for an experienced construction/maintenance worker or co-foreman.

Salary: Full Time, $24-29 Per Hour.

Work Hours: 10 hour days; weekend availability required

JOB OVERVIEW:

The worker will work to provide energy conservation services to customers. Work will include, but is not limited to, blown in insulation, spray foam insulation, water heater replacement, bath fan replacement, gable/roof vent installs and toilet and shower installation. This individual will work under the direction of the Crew Supervisor to meet deadlines and adhere to necessary standards. In addition, this individual will oversee the crew in a supervisory position when necessary.

Qualifications:

Must have 2+ years in the energy conservation, construction or maintenance field. Preferred: Any BPI certificates, OSHA 10/30, DOT physical (non-CDL).

Other:

Required to drive to the job site which may be 1.5 hrs away but will get mileage reimbursement if company vehicles aren’t available. Ability to work 8-12 hours per day; stand for prolonged periods; climb and work from ladders; exert up to 100 lb. of force occasionally; lift up to 30 lb. frequently; use hand and power tools; be able to kneel, crawl, push and pull; and work in all environmental conditions and related situations (i.e. heat, cold, rain, snow). Must maintain a valid NYS driver’s license or transportation to the job site.
