Experienced CNC or Swiss Machinists/Operators for 2nd & 3rd Shifts

Rable Machine, an Employee-Owned company, is looking for a motivated CNC or Swiss Machine Setup/Operators, responsible for producing machined parts by setting up and operating Citizen CNC equipment; maintaining quality standards; keeping production records; maintaining a standard of cleanliness and performing basic preventative maintenance on equipment to join our team of Employee Owners.

An hourly wage will be offered based on skills and experience. A $3,000 sign - on bonus offered to qualified candidates.

Responsibilities:

· Plans machining by studying work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, materials, specifications; interpreting geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T).

· Sets-up Swiss CNC programs and tooling.

· Loads feed mechanism by lifting stock into position.

· Verifies settings by measuring positions, first-article part, and sample workpieces.

· Maintains specifications by observing drilling, grooving, and cutting, including turning, facing, knurling and thread chasing operations; taking measurements; detecting malfunctions; troubleshooting processes; adjusting and reprogramming controls; replacing worn tools; adhering to quality procedures and processes.

· Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.

· Maintains equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs.

· Maintains continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.

· Documents actions by starting and completing production steps in ERP, entering piece counts, updating logs

Physical Demands:

· Must be able to kneel, bend, stoop, squat and stretch to reach various controls, materials and components.
