We are looking for a 2nd Shift Eurotech CNC Operator to join our precision manufacturing team. In this role, you'll be responsible for setting up and operating Eurotech CNC single and multi-spindle lathes to produce precision metal parts according to exact specifications. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and experienced with high-volume production in a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
•Operate Eurotech CNC lathes to perform drilling, boring, reaming, milling, and tapping.
•Load bar feeders or manually load bar stock and castings.
•Monitor machine operations and tool wear; make tooling adjustments as necessary.
•Perform quality inspections using micrometers, calipers, and bore gauges.
•Record part inspections, tool changes, and production data accurately.
•Replace, reset, and sharpen tools as needed.
•Maintain machine fluids and follow 5S principles to keep equipment clean and organized.
•Assist less experienced operators and collaborate with your team.
•Follow all company safety procedures and report equipment or safety issues immediately.
•Move finished parts to designated areas and assist with part packaging.
Qualifications:
•High school diploma or GED preferred.
•Minimum 2 year of CNC lathe experience (Eurotech or similar equipment).
•Ability to read mechanical drawings and interpret work orders.
•Basic understanding of G-code and shop math.
•Proficient in using precision measuring tools.
•Strong attention to detail, quality, and safety.
Physical Requirements:
•Must be able to lift 20–50 lbs occasionally and 10–25 lbs frequently.
•Frequent standing, walking, use of hands and arms, close vision.
•Occasional kneeling, crouching, stooping, and color vision required.
Work Environment:
•Loud manufacturing floor with moving mechanical parts.
•Exposure to oils, coolants, and fumes; PPE (safety glasses, gloves, ear protection) is required.
