1st Shift CNC Machinist

Steel 21 is seeking a full-time CNC Machinist to add to our 1st shift team!

Duties:

Setup and operate CNC machines and tooling (experience with OKK and V-tec mills is a plus)

Machining die sets, Mold plates and weldments

Knowledge of CNC tooling

Clean and deburr parts

Drive and operate forklift

Keep work area clean and organized

Minor mill maintenance

Quality Control

Lift up to 50 lbs

Hold self to a high standard of quality, taking pride in your work

Job Type / Category:

1st Shift CNC Machinist. Job entails setting up and operating a CNC machine.

Current 1st Shift Hours: 5:00am- 3:30pm

Skills and Qualifications:

Ability to read and use Micrometers / various machinist tools

Know and understand G and M codes

Ability to read and understand blueprints

Math skills

Dependability is a must

Strong work ethic

Communicate effectively with other employees

Be a team player

Have and maintain a positive attitude

Work environment: Machine shop/manufacturing

Hourly wage based upon experience and benefits available.
