Experienced Certified Welder

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Certified Welder to join our team. As a Certified Welder, you will be responsible for performing various welding tasks, ensuring adherence to industry codes and standards while maintaining high-quality workmanship.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform high-quality TIG welds on steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and other metals; MIG and Stick welding as required.

- Accurately interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and engineering drawings to execute projects with precision.

- Select appropriate filler materials, tools, and methods based on project requirements.

- Inspect and test welds for accuracy, durability, and adherence to specifications.

- Operate grinders, cutters, and other shop tools to prepare and finish welded materials.

- Maintain welding equipment and ensure proper setup and operation

- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment

- Work closely with supervisors and team members to deliver finished products efficiently.

Qualifications:

- Certified Welder with current welding certifications (AWS, MIG/TIG)

- Minimum of 3 years of welding experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting

- Proficient in stick welding and subarc welding; TIG welding is required

- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications

- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented

A weld test is required as part of the interview process. The applicant must bring welding equipment for the test.
