The Executive Vice President of Finance is a strategic and visionary executive responsible for overseeing financial management and growth initiatives of a large, multi-business line private company. Possessing extensive financial expertise with a strong grasp on transactional financing and comprehensive financial due diligence in acquisitions, the Executive Vice President of Finance will drive operational efficiency, enhance financial performance, and ensure alignment with corporate strategy. The Executive Vice President of Finance will lead accounting and key non-accounting teams, driving cross-functional collaboration, and fostering a culture of innovation across the organization.
- Strategic Leadership:
Develop and execute financial and operational strategies that enhance overall business performance and align with the company’s long-term vision.
- Cross-Functional Oversight:
Manage and support accounting and non-accounting teams, ensuring seamless operations across all business functions.
- Transactional Financing & M&A Due Diligence:
Lead financial due diligence for acquisitions, ensuring sound investment decisions and smooth integration of new business lines.
- Operational Excellence:
Drive continuous improvement, process optimization, and performance metrics to optimize capital allocation and enhance efficiency and scalability.
- Risk Management:
Identify financial and operational risks, implementing proactive strategies to mitigate them.
- Collaboration & Team Leadership:
Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and cross-functional collaboration across diverse business units.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
- 15+ years of progressive leadership experience, with a strong track record in both finance and operations.- Experience in transactional financing, financial due diligence, and M&A integration.
