Excavation Laborer

Assist in digging manholes, grading, and guiding equipment operators using universal hand signaling.

Cleans and prepares job sites including removal of debris, garbage, and excess water accumulation.

Use of shovels and rakes for trenching, grading, and fine-tuning earthwork.

Assist with handling and transporting construction materials.

Assists with the loading and unloading of equipment and materials.

Set up warning devices and barricades as needed.

Follow instructions from supervisors to perform manual labor task items.

Daily cleanup of work sites.

Clean, inspect and properly maintain tools.

Additional duties may be assigned by direct supervisor.

Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation.

Ability to lift heavy objects and perform tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Strong communication and organizational skills.

High attention to detail and ability to follow instructions carefully.

Efficient, productive, and proactive approach to work.

Willingness and eagerness to learn new skills.

Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull 80 pounds.

Physically fit and able to perform various tasks that include standing, climbing, lifting, walking, reaching, crawling, etc.

Ability to work in hard-to-reach places.
