Summary Objective
The
Inert Catalyst Estimator
will be required to possess operational knowledge of working in petrochemical plants and refineries. The
Inert Catalyst Estimator
will be required to possess operational knowledge of working in work in confined spaces, in both non-inert (air) and inert (oxygen-deficient) atmospheric conditions The
Inert Catalyst Estimator
will be required to possess operational knowledge of working in single- and multi-bed reactors, oxygen-deficient areas using a full-face respirator or a supplied air breathing apparatus to replace catalyst in a reactor.
Responsibilities•Must be capable and proficient in reviewing customer RFQs and request clarifications.
•Must be capable and proficient in attending customer job walks and pre-bid meetings.
•Must be competent in building schedules using MS Project for catalyst various estimation projects to include internal and mechanical work.
•Must be capable of completing estimates in MS Excel based on established rates using USAD project estimator templates.
•Must be highly proficient in building proposal documents in MS Word in accordance with the requirements of the RFQ.
•Must be knowledgeable and experienced in uploading proposals into customer bid portals.
Qualifications
•High School diploma or equivalent.
•Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
•Minimum of 5 years’ experience within Inert Catalyst.
•Basic Safety Training Skills.
•Basic communication skills.
•Understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
•Good communication skills and professional with co-workers, management, and other personnel.
•Obtain TWIC (transportations worker identification card) Card.
•Acceptable MVR and valid driver’s license (if authorized to operate company vehicles and motorized equipment including forklifts, etc.)
•Respond to emergency calls 24 hours, 7 days a week if called upon.
Physical Demands
•Physically capable of performing all duties and responsibilities assigned.
•Physically capable of lifting 50 pounds.
•Physically capable of standing and walk continuously for long periods of time as required by job scope.
•Physically capable of climbing, balance, bend, stoop, and kneel continuously.
•Perform work in enclosed (confined) spaces, as required by work scope.
