Burrow Global is seeking to hire an experienced
Sr. Scheduler / Plannerfor our organization. Candidates for this position should have a degree and 5 years of Planning and Scheduling experience. Candidates will be responsible for the development and maintenance of resource loaded schedule, critical path analysis, resolution of scheduling conflicts and monitoring schedule delays, impacts and variances to the baseline. Earned Value Management experience is desired. Candidates will support in the maintenance of the WBS and coordination of work packages. Candidates with EPC experience will rise to the top of the interview list.
Candidates Note: No per diem or relocation assistance is available on this position. All candidates must be within driving distance of Deer Park, TX. Position Summary
The individual will Lead Planning and Scheduling duties as assigned.
Responsibilities/ Duties
- Preparation of the Project Schedule Management Plan.
- Preparation of the project baseline schedule based on the project scope and deliverables.
- Progress and maintain the current schedule on regular intervals to form an accurate basis for forecasted completion dates, including manpower forecasts.
- Define schedule impact statements associated with proposed changes to project scope.
- Incorporates approved changes into the baseline schedule.
- Acts as planning facilitator for the project team.
- Suggests alternative plans of actions for project team consideration.
- Identify and communicate critical path/milestones.
- Interface with Project Managers, Cost Controllers, Engineering Leads, Construction Superintendents and sub-contractors to plan and maintain schedule control.
- Supports with planning and scheduling from proposal to execution.
- Develop and Analysis of Earned Value Curves, Resource Curves, Manpower Histograms and Critical Path.
- Participate in job walks with contractors or clients.
- Interface with or host Client Meetings for reporting purposes.
- Engage and mentor jr. schedulers.- 5+ plus years of related EPC experience.
- Preferred bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Management or Construction Management. Not Required.
- Has knowledge of cost reporting, estimating and procurement activities.
Must have working knowledge of MS Projects & P6 scheduling software.
