We’re seeking an Environmental Project Manager to lead remediation projects in the oil and gas sector based out of Loveland, CO. This hybrid role offers the chance to manage complex site investigations, soil and groundwater remediation, and regulatory compliance while working with a collaborative team of engineers, geologists, and scientists. You’ll oversee projects from start to finish, mentor technical staff, engage with clients and regulators, and ensure safe, high-quality, and on-budget delivery.

Key responsibilities for this role will include (but are not limited to):
- Manage the full life cycle of multiple remediation projects for oil and gas clients — from site investigation through implementation and closure.
- Oversee field activities, including soil and groundwater sampling, monitoring well installation, and remediation system oversight.
- Develop and manage project scopes, budgets, and schedules while ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery.
- Lead, mentor, and support project teams while ensuring technical quality and adherence to safety and compliance standards.
- Coordinate with regulatory agencies on permitting, reporting, and compliance requirements.
- Prepare and review technical reports, proposals, and regulatory submittals.
- Track project performance, control costs, and monitor profitability.
- Manage subcontractors, vendors, and procurement processes.
- Serve as the primary client contact, maintaining strong communication and relationships.
- Support business development through proposal preparation and client engagement.
Required and desired skillsets, experience, and qualifications for this role:
- Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of experience in environmental consulting or remediation project management.- Expertise in site investigation, remedial design, and operation/management of soil and groundwater remediation systems.
- Knowledge of state and federal oil & gas environmental regulations; experience with Colorado regulatory agencies is a plus.
- Strong ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Excellent technical writing skills for reports, proposals, and regulatory documentation.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; AutoCAD or related software experience is a plus.
- HAZWOPER certification preferred.
- Valid driver’s license with the ability to travel within Northern Colorado for client site visits.
- Ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs and work in field environments when needed.
- Ability to utilize Excel spreadsheets, create Excel trackers, and be able to use Word and PowerPoint for reporting/presentations via Teams or in person.
