Responsibilities
•Assist in the setup and operation of machinery and equipment for production tasks.
•Perform pipe threading and sheet metal work as required.
•Utilize hand tools and micrometers for precise measurements and adjustments.
•Support welding operations, including FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding) and stick welding.
•Help maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
•Operate forklifts for material handling within the shop environment.
•Collaborate with team members on construction site projects as needed.
•Contribute to building components and assemblies according to specifications.
Skills
•Proficiency in using hand tools and measuring instruments such as micrometers.
•Experience with pipe threading, sheet metal fabrication, and machining processes.
•Familiarity with welding techniques, specifically FCAW and stick welding.
•Ability to operate forklifts safely and efficiently.
•Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship.
•Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team setting.
•Previous experience in a shop or construction site environment is preferred but not mandatory.
