Entry-Level Quality Assurance Analyst (Remote)

We are seeking a detail-oriented Entry-Level Quality Assurance Analyst to join our remote team. In this role, you will help ensure the quality, performance, and reliability of our products and systems. - Execute manual test cases for web and/or mobile applications.

- Identify, document, and report software defects using tracking tools.

- Review user stories, requirements, and technical documentation to ensure test coverage.

- Assist in creating and updating test cases, test scripts, and test plans.

- Perform regression, functional, usability, and smoke testing.

- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and senior QA team members to troubleshoot issues.

- Verify bug fixes and track defects through closure.

- Participate in QA meetings, sprint planning, and daily stand-ups (remote).

- Provide clear and concise feedback to improve product quality.

Qualifications

- High school diploma required; Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field is a plus.

- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow testing steps accurately.

- Basic understanding of software development and QA processes.

- Familiarity with bug-tracking tools (Jira, Trello, Asana, etc.) is an advantage.

- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new tools and testing methods.

- Good communication skills—written and verbal.

- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

- No prior QA experience required; training will be provided.

Preferred Skills (Not Required)

- Basic knowledge of SQL queries.

- Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies.

- Understanding of browser developer tools.

- Exposure to API testing tools (e.g., Postman).

- Interest in automation testing (Selenium, Cypress, etc.).
