Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Field Engineer Associate to join our team. This position is critical to ensure that our proposed solar projects are feasible to installed on homes. Key Responsibilities:

- Going on structural analysis site visits in the field.

- Managing all structural projects and communications with engineers, customers, and contractors when reinforcements are needed.

- Coordinating with contractors to scheduling their site visit, work, quotes, and invoicing.

- Conducting initial walkthroughs for specialty projects which include battery storage, carports, EV charger and awnings.

- Quality Assurance on projects and ensuring roof quality after Site Survey by crews.

- Noting and keeping track of when special materials are needed for a project.

- Being on site and the point of contact for Montgomery County inspections.

Qualifications:

- Ability to climb ladders indoors to access attic spaces.

- Ability to maneuver in tight attic spaces to get measurements.

- Previous experience in construction or engineering design preferred.

- Knowledge on, or willingness to learn how to patch drywall hole if ever needed to open a hole in the wall.

- Strong organizational and time-management skills.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

- Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
