Overview

We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Apprentice Electrician to join our team. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals looking to start a rewarding career in the electrical field. As an Apprentice Electrician, you will work under the guidance of experienced electricians, gaining hands-on experience in various electrical tasks and projects. You will be involved in both commercial and industrial settings, learning to read schematics, handle high and low voltage systems, and utilize hand and power tools effectively.

Responsibilities

Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in commercial and industrial environments.

•

Learn to read and interpret blueprints and schematics to understand electrical layouts.

•

Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various tasks.

•

Support experienced electricians in troubleshooting electrical issues and performing repairs.

•

Participate in the construction site setup, ensuring all safety protocols are followed.

•

Gain knowledge of high voltage and low voltage systems through practical experience.

•

Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety standards at all times.

Requirements

•

High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

•

Basic understanding of electrical concepts is a plus; prior experience is not required but beneficial.

•

Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in electrical work.

•

Ability to read schematics and blueprints is advantageous.

•

Willingness to learn about commercial and industrial electrical systems.

•

Strong attention to detail with a commitment to safety on construction sites.

•

Must be physically capable of performing tasks that require standing for long periods, lifting materials, and working in various conditions.
