Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in electrical installations and repairs, particularly in construction environments. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems, the ability to read blueprints and schematics, and proficiency with various power tools. The Electrician will be responsible for ensuring that electrical systems are installed and functioning safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities
•Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential, commercial, or industrial settings.
•Utilize voltmeters, ammeters, and ohmmeters to troubleshoot electrical issues.
•Perform frame carpentry as needed to support electrical installations.
•Ensure compliance with local electrical codes and safety regulations.
•Collaborate with other construction professionals on-site to coordinate work efforts.
•Operate power tools safely and effectively during installation and repair tasks.
•Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential issues before they become problems.
•Offer written and verbal recommendations on repairs and replacements.
•Show yourself as professional and knowledgeable to help win new referrals and repeat business.
•Help maintain a clean, organized job site and service truck.
•Follow established processes and procedures.
•Ensure accurate repairs and installations.
•Operate with safety as a primary concern for self and customer. Phoenix Electrical performs no energized electrical projects. All work is to be performed de-energized.
•All projects are completed in a professional manner.
•Ensure a quality installation experience for the customer and ensure 100% satisfaction.
•Communicate regularly with customer service and the dispatch team in a friendly and efficient manner.
•Complete and turn in all paperwork timely including timecards, invoices, and payments.
•The ability to safely and effectively use various hand tools for tasks like fastening, shaping, measuring, and cutting, requiring practice and knowledge of tool-specific techniques.
Qualifications
•Proven experience as an Electrician in a construction site setting is preferred.
•Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including wiring, circuit breakers, transformers, and lighting fixtures.
•Familiarity with using voltmeters, ammeters, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools.
•Ability to work independently or as part of a team on various projects.
•Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
•Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and clients.
•Ability to perform physical requirements: climbing ladders, digging trenches, crawling underneath houses, and crawling into attics and tight confined spaces, being physically able to lift heavy objects as necessary.

Company Requirements:
Complete 90-day probationary period
Required to bring your own tools. Tooling Required: 10 or 11-in-1 screwdriver, wire strippers, diagonal cutting plyers, linesmen plyers, channel lock 420 or similar, safety glasses and headlamp.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Professional clean appearance, blue jeans no rips no tears, khaki pants, work boots, and a phoenix t-shirt.
Must be willing and able to work during business hours: Monday-Saturday 8am - 5pm; Phoenix Electrical does not offer 24/7 emergency services. and we only work occasional Saturdays.
Must be willing and able to work 40 hours per week. Working hours per week will fluctuate.
Compensation per hour, based on experience and performance measures.
