Job Description
The Entry End Operator is responsible for beginning the production process where you will coordinate the line entry activities of material allocation! And the experience you have may make you a perfect fit to join our team at our Washington, MO plant.

Some Key Responsibilities include:
•Reviews the Production Schedule.
•Coordinates the line entry activities of material allocations.
•Loads the entry coil carts with proper coils.
•Makes micrometer gauge checks and width and appearance checks, and reports any discrepancies form established standards to the shift supervisor.
•Reports coil identification information to proper personnel in proper sequence and keeps the records associated with this position.
•Operates the entry operator stations to properly charge coils into the coating line according to expectations and set procedures.
•Monitors material during uncoiling and leaving the entry section, along with the total plant activities.
•Accurately calculates footage and/or weights for specific job.
•Effectively runs coating line tension leveler and makes adjustments to achieve appropriate sheet shape.
•Communicates verbally and in writing with other departments of the plant concerning plant operations.
•Operates line controls, often using both hands simultaneously.
•Assists receiving Crane/Material Handler in unpacking coils to be loaded onto the coating line.
•Check coils for passivation.
•Inputs and retrieves information to and from the AS/400 main frame and the IPM systems.
•Maintains clean and organized work area according to 6s standards.
Qualifications
As the selected candidate you will have a high school level of reading and writing, visual acuity to read labels, meters, gauges, documents and instructions in addition to the following:
•Six months work experience in an industrial warehouse environment with fork lifts.
•Ability to safely operate small, manual and electric hand tools.
•Ability to work up to 12 hours per day or night, this could include weekends and/or holidays.
•6 to 12 months previous experience on a coating line is preferred.
