Job Summary

Each position in the Engineering Technologist job family is responsible to the assigned supervisor to perform entry level work activities and projects requiring the application of engineering technology knowledge in a safe, cost-effective and efficient way.

Job Description

This position will be focused on Grid Modernization program which includes DACR (Distribution Automation Circuit Reconfiguration), CVR (Conversation Voltage Reduction), and Smart Reclosers.

Minimum Requirements for the SG 05 Engineering Technologist Associate ($61,647-$77,057):

This is an entry level position for new graduates with a Bachelor's degree in engineering technology in a program accredited by ABET.*

Acceptable alternative is:

Minimum Requirements for the SG 06 Engineering Technologist ($72,380-$90,474):

Has typically acquired 2 or more years of related experience in work activities and projects requiring the application of engineering technology principles; Bachelor's degree in engineering technology in a program accredited by ABET. A degree in engineering technology is the preferred degree: however, engineering degrees will also be considered.
