We are currently looking for an experienced, motivated, and creative individual to fill the position of Engineering Specialist within our Wells Engineering Project Management Office based in Bakersfield.
The base annual salary for this posted position is expected to range from $60k - $105K, with a target annual bonus of 10% of base salary. Individual pay factors, including education, experience level and relevant industry experience. Benefits include: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K with Match, Paid Holidays, FSA, HSA.
Responsibilities•Perform analysis and documentation of targeted business processes across the CRC organization
•Review and submit notices of intent, well histories, and sundries
•Develop, manage, and support high-visibility, large-scale process improvement projects
•Review and approve daily operational reports and invoices
•Architect data management solutions extending across multiple workgroups and functions
•Liaise with organizational stakeholders, including IT, Finance, and HSE
Qualifications
•Experience analyzing and documenting business process workflows
•Experience with project management practices and techniques, including the use of project scheduling software
•Proficiency in MS Office applications, including MS Access
•Ability to create custom reports using Tibco Spotfire
•Experience in WellSTAR and AFMSS
•Experience with MS Visio software and MS SharePoint platform
•Experience writing SQL scripts and complex queries
•Experience mapping and understanding database schema
•Able to meet short-term deadlines and manage multiple deliverables
•Able to learn quickly, work with minimal supervision in a team environment, and deliver assignments on schedule
•Strong communication and customer service skills, including being able to talk through complex technical details in non-technical terms
•Must have valid driver’s license & a clean DMV record
Preferred Qualifications
•Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business or related field
•Project management credential (PMP or equivalent)
•Familiarity with oil and gas operations
•Familiarity with production and financial accounting systems and processes
•Familiarity with CRC enterprise applications, including eVIN, OpenWells, and XSPOC
