Bridge Metal Industries (BMI) is a leading metal fabricator based in Westchester County, NY. Initially focused on the POP Display industry, BMI is expanding into other sectors like OEM, Furniture, Hospitality, and Lighting.

Position Overview:

The Project Manager/Estimator will manage project costs, relationships, and timelines across diverse markets. The role demands strong mechanical knowledge, project management expertise, and proficiency in Excel. The right candidate should be comfortable with technical calculations, material estimations, and managing project timelines. We are also committed to training the right individual with the right attitude and strong willingness to learn, even if you are newer to this field.

Key Responsibilities:

•

Project Cost Estimation: Provide accurate cost estimates for materials, labor, and services to create competitive quotes for customers. Leverage mechanical knowledge to ensure all aspects of the project are accounted for.

Project Coordination: Work with internal teams, suppliers, and customers to ensure smooth project execution.

•

Procurement: Oversee the procurement process to secure materials and services as needed.

•

Project Supervision: Manage team members to ensure timely delivery of project tasks.

•

Product Fulfillment: Ensure products are delivered accurately and on time to meet customer requirements.

Key Requirements:

•

Mechanical Knowledge: Strong understanding of mechanical principles and how they apply to project estimation and management. Experience in manufacturing environments, particularly sheet metal fabrication, is a plus.

•

Excel Spreadsheet Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to use complex formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis tools to manage project data efficiently and accurately.

•

Technical Background: Preferred education in Engineering or a related technical field. However, we are willing to train the right individual who demonstrates a strong willingness to learn.

•

Manufacturing Experience: Experience in manufacturing, particularly with sheet metal fabrication knowledge.

•

Entrepreneurial Spirit: Proactive, hands-on approach with a strong "roll-up-your-sleeves" mentality.

•

Continuous Improvement: Ability to work in an environment focused on process improvement.
