Function: Plans, manages and coordinates the project. Manages the detailed technical schedule and financial performance of the project in order to deliver a quality product, on-time and at the lowest achievable cost.
Education: BS degree in Engineering preferred but not required.
1. Three to five years experience in Engineering, Scheduling, Procurement, Planning, Cost or Quality Assurance. One to two years experience in a Project Support function.
2. Experience with project negotiations, commercial management, contracts, supplier quality systems and development and implementation of project management strategies.

2. PC skills with knowledge word processing, spreadsheet, project and presentation software.
3. Demonstrates a thorough understanding of the communication process and ensures effectiveness across functional and managerial boundaries.

1. Maintain strong customer relationships for assigned projects. Viewed as a strong resource to influence relationships at higher customer levels.
2. Facilitate communications between cross-company and functional teams to ensure that issues are identified and incorporated into schedules and processes.
3. Ensures an understanding of business goals and creates energy and action toward these goals.
5. Anticipates potential problems and proactively solves complex problems using internal & external resources.
6. Has full supervisory responsibilities and impact on budgeting, controlling costs, planning, and scheduling and procedural change.
7. Ensures that costs, schedules and objectives are met.
8. Writes departmental and project specific processes, procedures & policies as required.
1. Serves as the primary point of contact for the customer after the sales.
2. Builds and maintains relationship with customer and other suppliers associated with the Project.
3. Provides the technical overview and implements the technical system interface with their scope of the project.
4. Coordinates with Vice President to establish a realistic project schedule and monitors compliance with the defined project objectives and project management processes to ensure the timely completion of project milestones and final delivery.
5. Serves as the primary internal contact with management for the Project and coordinates communication between the various functional areas involved in the project. Ensures that the project status and progress is effectively communicated to the internal Project Team and to the customer.
1. Develops and communicates the project budget. Approves all project-related expenditures as authorized.
3. Ensures that adequate resources are applied to the project.
1. Manages and negotiates Variation Orders and other changes to the contract within their scope of work.
2. Ensures that a document control procedure is in place and is followed.
3. Establishes and maintains a documented quality system as a means of ensuring that all elements of the Project conform with contract requirements, specific certificate standards and regulatory requirements.
