We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Engineering Manager to lead our dynamic engineering team. The Engineering Manager will be responsible for overseeing the development and execution of engineering projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with applicable industry standards. This role requires a strong technical background, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
· Lead, mentor, and develop a team of engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
· Plan, coordinate, and oversee engineering projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget and quality standards. These projects encompass a range of activities, including new valve design, assembly equipment design, application support, new product development, existing product support, and research and development initiatives.
· Provide technical direction and support to the engineering team, ensuring the implementation of the best practices and innovative solutions.
· Manage resources effectively, including personnel, equipment, and budget, to optimize project outcomes.
· Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track project progress and team performance, implementing corrective actions as needed.
· Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the engineering department, promoting a culture of innovation and excellence.
· Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
· Minimum of 3 years of experience in engineering management or a related role, with a proven track record of successfully leading engineering teams and managing complex projects.
· Strong understanding of engineering principles and methodologies.
· Provide technical guidance and support to the engineering team, leveraging your expertise to solve complex engineering challenges.
· Functional understanding of mechanical engineering and FEA software.
· Functional understanding of fluid dynamics and CFD software.
· Understanding of the basic principles within the field of metallurgy.
· Experience in creating and managing bills of material.
· Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
· Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools, with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
· Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing challenges.
Position requires extended periods of time sitting using a computer and concentration. May require lifting heavy parts and or equipment.
