Summary

We are currently seeking a bright, motivated individual to join our organization as an Energy Solutions Engineer (SE) in Boston, MA. The SE will primarily be responsible for providing technical support to the sales process, driving new district energy solutions for target customers. The ideal candidate will work hand-in-hand with Vicinity’s Account Executives and Account Managers to support the development of compelling business proposals to close new business and accelerate our sales cycle.

This individual not only needs to be technical, but a true team player with an ability to engage with the internal team in an effective and efficient manager. The SE will play an important and critical role in helping Vicinity to achieve our growth targets by differentiating us from alternative solutions. In addition, while technical acumen is essential, the SE must also possess a commercial mindset and understand how technical details influence and often make the ultimate sales.

Finally, this position must have a demonstrated interest or background in the development and delivery of energy and utility solutions for diverse customers (residential, commercial, medical, institutional, government, etc.).

The role will report directly to the Director, Business Development & Account Management. This is a full-time exempt position.
