Plummer is looking for a driven entry level civil or environmental engineer to support our Treatment (water and wastewater) team with review and evaluation of water quality data associated with treatment projects. You will be responsible for creating and analyzing hydraulic models, generating calculations, evaluating treatment options, preparing drawings, specifications, and cost estimates. You will also have a chance to develop your communication skills by providing updates and expectations to project stakeholders.

As an Engineer-in-Training will report to the Treatment Team member, who will provide ongoing guidance and mentorship.
Our ideal teammate will have a bachelor’s degree in civil or environmental engineering and will have or be able to obtain an EIT certification within six months of hire. You’ll stand out if you have a master’s degree or if you have prior work experience related to hydraulics and water/wastewater treatment and design, but neither of these is a requirement.
Our ideal teammate will also have a high proficiency with Microsoft Office. We are seeking a strong communicator with organizational skills and the ability to collaboratively plan, problem solve, and follow through on project tasks.
