We are a leading international explosives company seeking a talented Electronics/Electrical Engineer to join our team in Austin, TX. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in developing a robust radio telemetry-based data layer system to empower our robotics and mining vehicle fleet. This critical system will be the backbone of our communication network, ensuring seamless integration between our:

Robotics Systems

Electronic Detonators

Explosives Trucks

Data Collection Sensors

Bigdata databases

AI based backend.

What You'll Do:

Design, develop, and implement a radio telemetry data layer system for a harsh mining environment.

Collaborate with engineers and scientists to integrate the data layer with existing and future robotics systems, electronic detonators, explosives trucks, and data collection sensors.

Ensure standardized, reliable, and secure communication across all connected systems.

Perform system testing and troubleshooting to optimize functionality and performance.

Stay up to date on the latest advancements in radio telemetry and data communication technologies.

Document the design, implementation, and testing procedures.

You Are a Perfect Fit If You Have:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field

Minimum 2 years of experience in designing electronics.

Experience with embedded systems and low-power design.

Proficiency in programming languages relevant to embedded systems (e.g., C++, Python)

Understanding of radio telemetry principles and protocols is an advantage

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills

The ability to work independently and as part of an international team

Multilingual (Spanish or Portuguese) is a significant advantage.
