We are growing here at Daanaa and we’re looking to add a Hardware Electronics Engineer to join our team to help develop Daanaa’s power electronics products and bring them to market. As a Hardware Electronics Engineer, you’ll be reporting to the Manager of Hardware Engineering. The mission as a Hardware Electronics Engineer is to design, implement and test functional power converters.
What you’ll be doing:
•Circuit Design and Simulation: You will design, simulate and optimize power electronics & analog mixed signal circuits including component selection for function and reliability.
•Firmware Validation: Verify that all firmware integrations meet specified requirements and perform optimally at both the hardware and product levels across power electronic and analog mixed-signal circuits
•Circuit Testing: Design and execute test procedures to validate the performance and quality of power electronics and analog mixed-signal circuits
•Technical Documentation: Provide complete documentation for the design, testing, and validation of all power electronics and analog mixed-signal circuit components
You should apply if…
•You have a degree in Electrical Engineering or similar disciplines.
•You understand the intricacies of interactions between the hardware team and other departments, determining the requirements for each relationship, and effectively develop and implement ways to scale these relationships.
•You have 5+ years of experience in analog and digital circuit design and/or power electronics and a possess a deep understanding of magnetics design.
•You have experience incorporating thermal, signal integrity, reliability, and EMC/EMI constraints into your designs.
•Experience with battery management systems and microcontrollers is desirable.
•You appreciate that firmware and hardware create a cohesive system and have in depth understanding of the interaction between firmware and hardware.
•The idea of building new innovative products excite you and you enjoy rolling up your sleeves and bringing your designs to life.
Compensation and Benefits Package:
•Daanaa’s compensation package is based on a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical salary range for this position is from $100,000 – $120,000 per year. This may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills and experience.
