Job Summary

Jameson Electric is a growing electrical contracting company that specializes in marinas, new construction, remodels and service work for both residential and commercial.

Responsibilities

- Diagnose electrical issues and execute with a solution.

- Perform service calls.

- Make sure your van is stocked and organized for maximum efficiency.

- Read and interpret electrical schematics to determine the layout of wiring systems.

- Ensure timely completion of tasks.

- Quality control each job, making sure every customer will be happy with the work we provided.

- Utilize Microsoft programs & Jobber for schedule tracking, making material lists, and keeping organized.

- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, including OSHA standards.

- Communicate needs and job requirements clearly and accurately.

- Hold an active electrical license in FL (or another state) - Not required, but preferred.

- Generac generator air and liquid cooled certified (or was previously certified) or Experience with installing generators.

- Experience with residential single phase services up to 600a

- Experience with commercial services 1/ph and 3/ph services up to 1200amp plus-Experience with control wiring.

- Experience with running multiple jobs, coordinating with contractors or homeowners.

- Experience being a foreman and running a crew of guys, teaching them properly and assuring what is being installed is to company standards.

- Well versed and understands the NEC code.

- Needs to be able to complete jobs start to finish while applying the NEC code on their own.

Skills

- 3+ years of electrical experience.

- Proven communication and organizational skills.

- Great knowledge of electrical schematics and troubleshooting techniques.

- Familiarity with using a multimeter for testing electrical systems.

- Pays attention to detail.

- Knowledge of OSHA regulations related to electrical work.

- Ability to work under pressure.

- Experience with residential electrical from ground-up, large- and small-scale remodels to service work.

- Experience with marina electrical (shore power, boat lifts, dock lighting)

- Experience with standby generator installs.

- Ability to read blueprints and competence in using the NEC code book

- Great troubleshooting skills.

- Experience bending conduit.

- Reliable and Efficient

Physical Requirements

- Ability to work in the field, this is not a desk job.

- Ability to carry, lift, and push up to 50lbs.

- Capability to bend, squat, climb, reach, and kneel.

- Comfortable climbing into attics, small crawl spaces, and being on tall ladders.

- Ability to multitask and work efficiently.

- Residency within 45 minutes of Stuart, FL and possession of a valid FL driver’s license.

- Clean driving record.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $33.00 - $38.00 per hour
