You and the role

We are recruiting for our Offshore Maintenance Team. If you hold the necessary training and qualifications for Electrician we invite you to submit a detailed Resume outlining your professional history to our Job Advert.

Primary responsibilities

Ideal candidate should be able to install, troubleshoot and maintain electrical distribution systems, transformers, VFD drive, and electric motor driven drilling equipment. Candidates should be experienced in servicing Electrical equipment and have a broad working knowledge of Electrical power distribution and VFD drive systems. Able to maintain, isolate, and troubleshoot various electrical systems.

Experience

Our Electricians will form a large part of our Offshore Maintenance Team and will require experience with a computerised maintenance management system including preventive, predictive and conditions monitoring. Have experience in the repair and maintenance of Mechanised Semi-Automated controlled Drill Floor equipment.

Preference will be given to candidates who have held the position for 2-5 years and have a total of 5 years’ experience working offshore/onshore in the oil and gas industry. On Drilling Platforms, Semi Submersibles 5th/6th Generation Drill ships and or Jack-Ups. Mechanised Semi-Automated controlled drilling experience would be a definite asset.

Minimum qualifications

Successful candidates will hold a Diploma in Electrical Engineering Technology or a Red Seal Electrician certificate.
