About the Role:

At Rogers Heating & Cooling, we’re looking for an experienced Electrician who knows the ins and outs of circuits, wiring, and all things electrical. You’ll install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential spaces—keeping homes powered up and problem-free.

What You’ll Be Doing (Your Day-to-Day):

- Install and repair electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures in residential homes.

- Run conduits and pipes to house electrical wires and cables, making sure everything meets code.

- Install circuit breakers, panels, outlets, switches, and generators.

- Test and troubleshoot electrical systems to ensure they’re working safely and efficiently.

- Inspect existing electrical systems to assess maintenance needs or code violations.

- Replace or upgrade faulty wiring, conduits, circuit breakers, and other electrical components.

- Read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams to plan efficient installations.

- Follow all safety protocols and regulations, ensuring each job is done right.

- Perform other duties as assigned.

What You Bring to the Table:

- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and safety protocols.

- Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams with ease.

- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.

- Excellent problem-solving skills with a sharp attention to detail.

- A commitment to safety, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.

Education & Experience:

- High school diploma or equivalent (required).

- Completion of a formal apprenticeship (highly preferred).

- Valid electrician’s license (highly preferred).

Physical Requirements:

- Ability to see color to correctly handle color-coded wiring.

- Comfortable standing, kneeling, bending, and climbing ladders or scaffolding for extended periods.

- Physically capable of pulling wires and cables through conduits.

- Able to lift up to 50 lbs.

- Willingness to wear OSHA-required PPE and follow safety protocols.

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday, day shift.

- Weekends as needed (because sometimes electrical emergencies don’t wait).

Pay:

- $27.00 – $42.00/hour plus commission pay. Paid weekly.
