The Senior Operations Technician is responsible for the day-to-day operations and maintenance of Revity’s portfolio of solar assets and related infrastructure, real estate assets, equipment, and machinery. This includes hands-on fieldwork, preventive and corrective maintenance, and coordination with internal teams and third-party contractors. This position plays a key role in maintaining site uptime, ensuring compliance and safety, and documenting all maintenance activities. The Senior Operations Technician will work with Revity’s asset management team maintaining over 25 ground mount and rooftop solar projects.
o Perform physical electrical maintenance, including testing, inspections, troubleshooting, and part replacement.
o Monitor all solar sites remotely and respond to operational issues on weekdays and weekends.
o Conduct quarterly and annual inspections, documenting site conditions and maintenance needs.
o Maintain cleanliness, access, and security at all solar sites and maintenance garages.
o Draft and implement SOPs for safety, troubleshooting, commissioning, and maintenance.
o Source and order spare parts and manage inventory.
o Coordinate subcontracted services (e.g., landscaping, snow removal, electrical work).
o Maintain Revity-owned buildings, garages, offices, and heavy equipment.
o Responsible for ensuring that the O&M garage is always clean, secure, and organized.
o Maintain real-time inventory tracking and accountability for all tools, equipment, and spare parts stored in the O&M garage.
o Support the maintenance of vacant land and real estate assets.
o Provide input on asset management strategy and asset safeguarding.
o Occasionally assist with construction tasks such as inspections, documentation, reporting, and coordination.
o Will supervise Revity electricians or other personnel during maintenance or troubleshooting.
o May involve occasional travel or after-hours work based on site needs.
o External partners such as subcontractors and third-party consultants
o Ten plus years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
o Experience in electrical maintenance, construction, or renewable energy is required.
o Experience with medium voltage systems, troubleshooting ground faults, and working with solar modules, inverters, and combiner boxes is preferred.
o Familiarity with workplace safety and environmental regulations.
o Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
o Ability to summarize technical findings for decision-makers.
o Strong technical and hands-on skills in electrical systems.

o High attention to detail, time management, organization, and follow-through.
o Strong work ethic, accountability, and ability to work independently.
o Tech-savvy: Microsoft Office and remote monitoring/maintenance software.
o Comfortable working at heights, in varied weather conditions, and near rotating/electrical equipment.
