The Electrician works under minimal supervision to maintain and repair electrical equipment used to control and provide power to well service equipment; performs in-depth repairs, maintenance, and replacement of electrical components; makes repairs to medium voltage electrical components; and assists with scheduling and monitoring less experienced Electricians.
- Maintain and repair electrical equipment used to control and provide power to well service equipment
- Make repairs to medium voltage electrical components
- Under minimal supervision, perform maintenance and in-depth repairs or replacement of electrical components
- Start up and run intermediate and some advanced functions of electrical equipment
- Assist with scheduling and monitoring less experienced Electricians
- Perform lock out/ tag out procedures
- Utilize and fully engage with the organization’s information systems
- Adhere to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and best practices (BPs) for all electrical equipment
- Communicate all electrical issues to applicable organization departments
- Use training and technical manuals to diagnose and repair equipment failures
- Identify and address electrical problems on well service equipment
- Work cross-functionally with warehouses to maintain sufficient E-Fleet spare parts inventory
- Ensure provided company vehicle is properly serviced, inspected, and maintained
- Safely drive company vehicle day or night, on various road types, and in all weather conditions
- Perform general housekeeping and routine maintenance of company property
- Attend all required training associated with the role (i.e., electrical safety, maintenance, best practices, industry standards, etc.)
- Report all observed safety hazards to supervisor
- Remain available to adjust work schedule when necessary, work alternative shifts when requested by supervisor, and remain on 24 hour call when required
- Utilize stop work authority when required
- Maintain compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) polices by attending all required HSE training sessions, safety meetings, and always utilize proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

- Minimum 3 year experiences as a Journeyman Electrician, preferred
- Technical Associate’s degree preferred and may be considered in lieu of experience
- High School diploma or equivalent, required
- Maintaining a current, valid Journeyman Electrician license, required
- Maintaining a current, valid driver’s license and a clean driving record, required
- Proficient working with medium voltage components on well servicing equipment
- Must possess moderate knowledge of electrical equipment used in well servicing
- Moderate knowledge of well stimulation services
- Full understanding of E-Fleet schematic for all cable connections and layout
- Must stay current on continuing educations requirements (i.e., National Electrician Code (NEC), NFPA 70, etc.)
- Must attend all organization required training and be willing to obtain any certification deemed necessary
- Good leadership characteristics; able to monitor and coach less experienced team members
- Good written and verbal communication skills, can effectively interact with team members, supervisors, and personnel at all levels of the organization
- Able to read instruction manuals, blueprints, utilize diagnostic tools, and follow detailed directions
- Proficient working in Microsoft Office 365 applications and all other work-related software
- Safety conscious, observant, and willing to use stop work authority when necessary
- Must be physically able to safely perform duties during a 12+ hour work shift that will include days, nights, holidays, and weekends- Must be available to adjust work schedule and remain on call when required
- Must be physically able to safely perform duties in all weather conditions including extreme heat or cold
- Must be physically able to remain alert and safe during exposure to moving mechanical parts, fumes, toxic chemicals, airborne particles, and moderate to loud noises
- Must be physically able to bend, stoop, kneel, twist, crawl, walk on uneven surfaces, and climb equipment ladders or stairs throughout the work shift
- Must be physically able to safely lift or move 50 lbs. without assistance
