Description of Duties

- Troubleshoots and repairs electrical equipment.

- Troubleshoots and repairs Distributed Control Systems (DCS) and PLCs

- Performs maintenance per established written procedures. Uses drawings, equipment manuals, procedures, and proper tools to troubleshoot and repair equipment.

- Documents work performed in test forms and condition reports.

- Marks up drawings for as-built revision by drafting based upon field inspection.

- Terminates motor connections

- Troubleshoots motor controls

- Reads schematics and logic diagrams

- Conducts high voltage switching and grounding distribution systems

- Conducts electrical testing and inspections

- Uploads and downloads field data

- Reads loop diagrams, logic diagrams, P&IDs

- Programmable logic control experience

- Reviews and re-writes procedures for electrical work.
