We are seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to join our Preconstruction team. In this role, you will be responsible for calculating the cost of electrical construction by reviewing and evaluating available documents and developing accurate, competitive, and profitable bid proposals for a wide variety of electrical projects. This is a full-time exempt position and reports to the Director of Estimating of our Preconstruction department. Our office is open from 6am-5pm; team members have flexibility with their daily work schedule, based on their needs and the needs of their team and the work.
As our Electrical Estimator, you’ll review and evaluate project plans and specifications, bid documents, and other relevant project documents to identify what is needed for a project and to create a bid proposal. You will calculate the cost of electrical construction based on your review and evaluation of documentation and execute and input take-offs into the estimating software.
You’ll utilize your expertise to analyze projects for value engineering options, while considering specific job conditions that may affect labor and material to be purchased and installed. You’ll participate in bid reviews, and work with others to development stand-out proposals.
The ideal candidate will have 2 or more years of industrial and commercial electrical estimating experience. A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in the electrical trade and training is strongly preferred.
Success in this role requires the ability to manage multiple projects at various stages concurrently. It requires a high level of interpersonal and communication skills – both written and verbal, and someone who is a self-starter, capable of working both independently and as a member of a group.Additional skills that will contribute to success in this role include:

Salary Range: $90,000 - $110,000 per year. Actual compensation is dependent upon the employee's skills, experience, and qualifications. In addition, employees may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
