What You’ll Do
•
Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates based on blueprints and specifications
•
Perform detailed material/labor takeoffs and solicit vendor/subcontractor pricing
•
Develop bid packages and proposals that reflect scope, risks, and value
•
Collaborate with project managers and engineers to align estimates with strategy
•
Attend pre-bid meetings and site walks to gain full understanding of project needs
•
Analyze historical data and market trends to refine future estimates
•
Identify value-engineering opportunities and budget-conscious alternatives
What We’re Looking For
•
3+ years of electrical estimating experience (commercial/industrial preferred)
•
Proficiency in Accubid, ConEst, McCormick, or similar software
•
Strong blueprint reading and NEC/code knowledge
•
Excellent communication, math, and organizational skills
•
High attention to detail with a solutions-focused mindset
