Job: Electrical Engineer – Power
Rushmore Electric Power Cooperative is seeking an Electrical Engineer with a power emphasis who will assist in delivering engineering services to our member cooperatives. The job could entail distribution and transmission line staking and design, substation design, system planning, system sectionalizing, and inspection of new construction.
Minimum Qualifications:
•
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from ABET accredited curriculum
•
Sound knowledge of electrical engineering fundamentals with the ability to apply them to real-world applications
•
Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Suite – Excel, Word, Access and Outlook
•
Strong work ethic and organizational skills
•
Ability to work independently and in team environments
•
Ability to be self-directed at managing multiple priorities
•
Ability to speak and write professionally
•
Some overnight travel maybe required
•
Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without the need for sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications:
•
Successful completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) preferred
•
Ability to obtain a professional engineer (PE) license
•
Working knowledge of codes, standards, laws and regulations applicable to the power industry
•
AutoCAD skills
Compensation: Rushmore Electric will provide the following compensation:

Salary: $75,000 - $90,000
