Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Electrical Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will collaborate with a Project Manager to design and implement power, lighting, and electrical systems for a variety of project typologies, including municipal, commercial, educational, and multifamily housing. Key Responsibilities:
•Develop and produce conceptual, schematic, design development, and construction drawings for electrical systems.
•Manage projects through all phases, from design to construction administration, ensuring project milestones are met.
•Edit and develop electrical specifications to meet project requirements.
•Review and provide feedback on submittals and shop drawings.
•Perform electrical calculations to ensure the design meets industry standards and project needs.
•Monitor project budgets and timelines, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
•Supervise and mentor electrical designers, as well as CADD and BIM technicians, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
•Attend consultant coordination meetings with clients and other stakeholders to ensure project alignment and expectations.
•Coordinate with utility providers, such as telephone and power companies, to ensure system integration and compliance with all applicable regulations.
•Provide accurate and timely deliverables in line with project requirements.
•Conduct site observations to monitor construction progress and generate detailed reports.
Qualifications:
•Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (or related field).
•Proficiency in electrical design software, including Visual, AGI, SKM, AutoCAD, and Revit, with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new tools.
•Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
•Strong ability to follow both written and verbal instructions.
•Collaborative team player with the ability to work effectively with a diverse team of professionals.
•Willingness to work overtime as required to meet project deadlines
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
