A typical path toward a COO role often follows this trajectory:
- Build a strong technical foundation as an Electrical Engineer.
- Advance into leadership — supervisory, management, or director-level roles overseeing engineering or operations.
- Expand strategic oversight, including project execution, budgeting, member engagement, and staff management.
- Gain executive readiness through continued education or leadership development. Northwest Executive Education.
At HOTEC, this trajectory isn’t hypothetical—it’s part of our long-term vision. We believe in growing leaders from within to sustain and evolve our cooperative mission.
