Electrical Engineer IV

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in electrical engineering principles and demonstrate proficiency in various software and tools essential for designing, analyzing, and implementing electrical systems. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions that meet project specifications and client requirements.

Responsibilities

- Design and develop electrical systems and components, ensuring compliance with industry standards.

- Utilize software tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, and SolidWorks for creating detailed schematics and models.

- Conduct simulations and analyses using ANSYS and MATLAB to validate designs.

- Collaborate with mechanical engineers to integrate electrical systems with mechanical components.

- Develop firmware for programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and embedded systems.

- Perform signal processing tasks to enhance system performance.

- Debug and troubleshoot electrical systems, utilizing scripting languages like Python or Perl as needed.

- Prepare technical documentation, including system design specifications and user manuals.

- Participate in manufacturing processes to ensure designs are feasible for production.

Skills

- Proficiency in FPGA design and implementation.

- Strong knowledge of system design principles in electrical engineering.

- Experience with CAD software, including AutoCAD, MicroStation, and Revit.

- Familiarity with ARM architecture for embedded systems development.

- Solid understanding of mechanical engineering concepts as they relate to electrical systems.

- Ability to write scripts for automation or data analysis using Python or C++.

- Knowledge of debugging techniques for both hardware and software components.

- Experience in manufacturing processes related to electrical components.
