Electrical Engineer - Automation Controls

Position Purpose:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Entry-Level Electrical Engineer with a passion for automation controls to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of electrical engineering principles with an emphasis or experience in automation and control systems.

Essential Functions

· Assist in designing, testing, and implementing automation and control systems for various applications.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project specifications and requirements.

· Create and maintain electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and control logic diagrams.

· Conduct analyses and simulations to optimize control system performance.

· Support senior engineers in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to automation systems.

· Keep up to date with advancements in the field of electrical engineering and automation controls.

· Participate in on-site commissioning of control systems.

· Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations during design and implementation stages

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field.

· Experience or coursework focused on automation controls is preferred.

· Knowledge of PLC programming, HMI development, and SCADA systems is a plus.

· Strong problem-solving skills and analytical thinking.

· Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

· Familiarity with electrical CAD tools and software.

· Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.

· Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
