Electrical Engineer - Assistant/Associate/Senior

The Modesto Irrigation District is currently recruiting to fill one full-time regular position in the Electric Engineering Department, Transmission & Distribution Division to perform professional electrical engineering work related to the planning, design, and construction of generation, transmission, distribution, substation facilities, and renewable projects; and to perform a variety of technical engineering studies. The position will be filled at the appropriate level based on the qualifications of the successful candidate.

This is an exempt position and is part of the Professional and Supervisory Bargaining Unit. The list established as a result of this recruitment may be used to fill other Assistant/Associate/Senior Electrical Engineer vacancies that may occur within the District through May 15, 2026.
