We are looking for motivated Electrical Designers with 5 to 8 years of experience, and who are passionate about collaborating with engineers, technical teams, consultants and contractors. Responsibilities:
•As a key member of our team, you’ll take ownership of impactful projects and tasks, ensuring timely and quality delivery. You’ll collaborate with a talented engineering team and contribute to shaping the future of infrastructure and technology. Here’s what you’ll be diving into:
•Drive Project Success: Help execute the development, management, and coordination of project scopes, deliverables, designs, and schedules.
•Innovate Through Design: Create detailed engineering designs and calculations to meet project requirements.
•Share Your Expertise: Contribute to in-depth technical and engineering reports.
•Be a Communication Dynamo: Collaborate with internal teams, external clients and vendors to resolve technical challenges and ensure project alignment.
•Stay Hands-On: Monitor construction progress, review field change orders, and support testing and commissioning phases
•Shape the Future: Play a pivotal role in equipment and construction tender development.
•Collaborate with Vendors: Coordinate technical clarifications and design updates with suppliers.
•Quality Assurance Specialist: Review design drawings, material specifications, and oversee QA/QC processes during construction.

Qualifications:
As the ideal candidate you possess a diploma from an accredited technical institute and have 5 to 8 years of applicable experience in electrical design.
Your experience includes demonstrated skills in the following:
•Canadian codes and design standards.
•Knowledge and experience with electrical power systems.
•Ability to utilize CAD software to design and produce complete electrical drawing packages.
•Able to work effectively with engineering and construction groups to ensure that project delivery and quality goals are met.
•Experience in multi-disciplinary coordination (integration of other disciplines such as civil, mechanical, etc.)
•Interpersonal communication and ability to work in a team environment.
•Strong communication and self-motivation.
•Organizational and time management skills.
You possess strong English communication skills, both written and verbal, along with excellent interpersonal abilities and willingness to work in a team atmosphere. Problem solving and decision-making skills are essential.
