Nino Development is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Estimator to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced estimator to play a pivotal role in the success of our electrical construction projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
You will be responsible for preparing accurate and timely cost estimates for electrical installations in commercial and industrial construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:
•Review electrical drawings, blueprints, and project specifications to prepare cost estimates for electrical systems, materials, and labor.
•Work closely with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure accuracy in project estimates.
•Perform detailed take-offs and analyze project requirements for electrical installations.
•Develop comprehensive bid proposals, including breakdowns for labor, materials, and equipment costs.
•Attend project meetings and perform site visits to gather critical information for accurate estimating.
•Maintain and update pricing databases for electrical materials and labor costs.
•Analyze and compare subcontractor quotes, ensuring compliance with project specifications.
Requirements:
•Proven experience in the construction industry, with a focus on commercial and industrial projects.
•Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and construction processes.
•Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., Accubid, Bluebeam, or similar tools).
•Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
•Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in cost estimation.
•Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
•A degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field is preferred.
•Experience with both low and high voltage systems is a plus.
