Electrical Apprentice

A+Derr Heating & Cooling is a 4th generation family-operated company that has been serving the local area for nearly fifty years. With one of the largest and most responsive technician fleets in the region, we are dedicated to providing exceptional HVAC services.

We are seeking an Apprentice Electrician to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial for supporting our technicians in delivering high-quality electrical services to our clients. The position is based in the Evansville, IN area.

Responsibilities

- Assist experienced electricians in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems.

- Learn to read blueprints and schematics to understand project requirements.

- Utilize hand and power tools safely and effectively.

- Support electrical work on construction sites under supervision.

- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times.

- Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.

- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.

- Work OT and On-call as needed to meet our customer demand.

Qualifications

- High school diploma or equivalent.

- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

- Some experience or coursework related to electrical systems preferred.

- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools.

- Basic understanding of electrical codes and safety practices.

- Ability to read blueprints and schematics is a plus.

- Strong willingness to learn and grow within the field.

- Good communication skills and teamwork attitude.
