Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Safety Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring a safe working environment across all projects. This role requires a strong understanding of occupational health and safety regulations, as well as the ability to implement effective safety programs. The Safety Coordinator will collaborate with various teams to promote a culture of safety and compliance within the organization.
- Develop, implement, and maintain safety policies and procedures in accordance with OSHA regulations.
- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections on construction sites to identify potential hazards.
- Provide training and support to employees on safety practices and compliance management.
- Monitor compliance with EHS (Environmental Health and Safety) standards and regulations.
- Investigate accidents and incidents, documenting findings and recommending corrective actions.
- Collaborate with project managers to integrate safety measures into management processes.
- Maintain records related to workers' compensation claims and assist in risk management strategies.
- Stay updated on industry standards, best practices, and changes in occupational health regulations.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and compliance management.
- Familiarity with software and its application in safety protocols.
- Experience in risk management related to field sites and working at heights.
- Understanding of occupational health principles and practices.
- Ability to effectively communicate safety policies to diverse teams.
- Bilingual communication.
- Proficient in conducting training sessions on EHS standards.
- Strong analytical skills for assessing safety risks and developing mitigation strategies.
- Ability to work collaboratively with departments and managers.
- Wind Industry experience is a plus.
