Dump Truck Operator

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled DumpTruck Driver to join our Underground Construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while providing excellent customer service. This role requires a strong commitment to safety and adherence to all traffic regulations. The Truck Driver will operate various types Equipment, including a 5-yard dump truck,skidsteer, Mini ex, and be responsible for naviagting to multiple plants to pick up material for jobs and may be required to perform heavy lifting.

Responsibilities

- Safely operate a commercial vehicle to deliver products to designated locations.

- Perform routine inspections of the vehicle before and after trips to ensure safety and compliance.

- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation as required by company policies.

- Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.

- Follow designated routes while being flexible to adapt to changes in delivery plans.

- Assist in warehouse operations, including inventory management and organization as needed.

- Uphold high standards of customer service during all interactions.

Qualifications

- Valid California Drivers license

- Experience with route driving and delivery driving is preferred.

- Ability to handle heavy lifting tasks safely (up to 50 pounds).

- Strong customer service skills with a focus on professionalism and courtesy.

- Knowledge of manual transmission vehicles is beneficial but not mandatory.

- Must be able to pass background checks and adhere to safety regulations at all times.
