Dump Truck Driver

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Dump Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in truck driving, particularly with dump trucks, and possess a strong commitment to safety and efficiency. This role involves transporting materials to and from job sites, and residential homes, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all traffic regulations and company policies.

Responsibilities

- Operate dump trucks safely and efficiently, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations.

- Deliver materials, including dirt, gravel, and other aggregates while collecting payment.

- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.

- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance.

- Navigate routes effectively to ensure timely delivery of materials.

- Ensure the cleanliness of the truck both inside and out.

Qualifications

- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record.

- Experience driving dump trucks; familiarity with manual transmission is preferred.

- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in commercial driving roles.

- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.

- Must be able to lift heavy loads (up to 50 pounds) and climb in to beds of trucks is a requirement.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 47.5 – 60 per week
