Dump Truck Driver/Laborer

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Dump Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in heavy equipment operation and a strong understanding of construction site dynamics. This role involves transporting materials to and from construction sites, ensuring safety and efficiency in all operations.

Responsibilities

- Operate dump trucks and other heavy equipment.

- Safely transport materials such as dirt, gravel, asphalt, and other construction materials to designated locations.

- Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in safe operating condition.

- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours and vehicle maintenance records.

- Collaborate with site supervisors and other team members to ensure timely delivery of materials for ongoing projects.

- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies while on the job site.

- Assist with loading and unloading materials as needed, utilizing various types of heavy machinery.

Qualifications

- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record.

- Proven experience operating dump trucks and other heavy equipment in a construction environment.

- Mechanical knowledge to perform basic maintenance and troubleshoot equipment issues.

- Familiarity with excavation processes and construction site protocols.

- Ability to operate additional machinery such as Caterpillar equipment, tankers, and graders is preferred.

- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team setting.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $26.00 - $32.00 per hour
