Off-Road Dump Truck Driver (Articulated & Rigid Body)

American Asphalt Paving Co is seeking an experienced OFF-ROAD DUMP TRUCK DRIVER (ARTICULATED & RIGID BODY) for our quarry in Shavertown, PA.

Skills and Experience:

- Prefer candidate with 3 years' experience driving a 35-50 ton Articulated Dump Truck.

- The position requires a valid PA Driver's License (Class C), and a clean driving record.

- Conduct daily pre-shift and post-shift equipment and safety inspections.

- Mechanically inclined.

- Ability to perform plant maintenance and clean-up around the quarry yard when not operating the dump truck.

- Seeking a self-starter who is familiar with quarry operations and the construction industry.

- Have experience in, or the willingness to learn how to operate other pieces of heavy equipment (water truck, excavator, dozer, skid steer, man lift, etc.)

- Must be willing and available to work overtime when necessary, including weekend work, particularly during April to November peak season.

- Must have a strong commitment to safety.

- Capable of working outdoors year-round in all types of weather.

- Candidate must pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening test, and be willing to submit to, and pass, random drug/alcohol testing.

- Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by Supervisor.
